About Grassi Refrigeration

Randy is a retired Volunteer Firefighter from Westside Fire & Rescue in Westside, IA. He joined the Grassi team in 2011 as a Service Technician and brings 13+ years of experience in the HVAC/R and Electrical field. He has his HVAC/R Electrical License in Washington State. Randy lives on the Confederated Tribe of the Umatilla Indian Reservation where he loves to garden and river kayak.

Chris joined our team as a Service Tech in early 2016. He came to the Northwest from Southern California. The accessibility to the Blue Mountains and the rivers has kept him here. In his free time, Chris participates in hunting and fishing, He is married with 2 children and 2 German Shorthaired dogs.

Jeremy came to work for Grassi in 2021 in the service department. He was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He came to Walla Walla to learn a new trade and for a change of scenery. Jeremy earned a degree at WW Community College in the Energy Systems Technology program. In his free time, he enjoys reading and helping his neighbors. Jeremy has 1 cat named Lemongrab.

TJ started working for Grassi in 2019 in the service department. He was born in Scotland and raised in Walla Walla. TJ has earned an AAAS degree from WW Community College in Energy Systems Technology. In his free time, TJ says he likes to “not work”. He has 2 girls and 1 boy.

Diego joined the Grassi team in 2011. He left in 2015 for a short period and returned to Grassi in 2016. He was born in Mexico and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He came to Walla Walla in 2000 and has been here since. He enjoys raising his family here in the valley and together they spend as much time outdoors as possible, hunting, fishing, hiking, and hanging out at the river.

Chris started working for Grassi in 2022 as an installer. He was born and raised in Washington State. He came to Walla Walla to be near family. Chris enjoys fishing and has two dogs.

Anthony began working for Grassi as an installer in 2019. He was born and raised here in Walla Walla and has stayed here to be near family. When not working, Anthony enjoys the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He has 2 boys and 2 dogs named Boone and Monte.

Born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley, Alex grew up working part-time for Grassi Refrigeration. He received his refrigeration degree and after working full-time with the company for many years, he has now taken over the business from his father, Arnie. Alex enjoys golfing, going to sporting events, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.

John has worked for Grassi since 1987 and is now our General Manager. He has been in the area his entire life, with the exception of the four years he served in the United States Coast Guard. After returning home from the Coast Guard in Alabama, he attended Walla Walla Community College and began working in the HVAC field. Since 1980, he has been a volunteer firefighter / EMT with the Walla Walla County First District. John, along with his wife, has two grown daughters and two granddaughters. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, gardening, and keeping up with his granddaughters.

Ashley was born and raised in the Walla Walla area and joined our team in 2010 as our Dispatcher. She stayed in the area to be close to her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and cats.

Tammy began working for Grassi in 2022 in the Accounts Receivable department. She was raised in Walla Walla and has two daughters and 4 grandchildren. Tammy enjoys spending time at the river with family and friends, snowmobiling, and taking her grandkids snowboarding. Tammy also likes to travel.

Kris started with Grassi in 2023. She was born and raised in Boise Idaho and moved to the area 30 years ago with her husband and family. The small-town feeling is what she likes about living here. She shares husband’s passion for drag racing/ She also enjoys reading books and crocheting, Kris has 3 grown children 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs.

Kam started working for Grassi in 2023 in our warehouse after graduating from McLoughlin High School. He was born and raised here in the Walla Walla area. In his spare time Kam helps his brother-in-law with his family’s bee business, He enjoys spending time with his older sister, her husband, niece and soon a nephew.  When he is not working, he spends his time drag racing, hunting, and four wheeling up in the mountains.
